Freelancin': A Simpsons Guy, An Hour of Tragedy

Apologies about the audio quality this time.  Nothing ever does go exactly right, does it?  It's fine at the beginning and the end, then slowly it builds during the middle.  There must be some static in my mic that I didn't notice in testing, and now it's too late.  Anyway, speaking of incredible laziness, the Simpsons x Family Guy crossover:

Even I do not know how "Family Guy" remains on television.  I don't want to know.  It's bad enough that I'm forced to talk about it once a year as it is.

  2. The Family Guy/Simpsons crossover...yeah.

I admit it was mixed , but it still had its moments.

But I will agree with you on many points, Bobs Burgers and American Dad are generally the best shows on the Sunday night lineup. Its sad American dad has moved to TBS. Fox should have advertised it better, it was always after the 1st season better written.

I will agree with one of the worst episodes of family guy, was the Peter turns homosexual episode. It was just disgusting in its hateful portrayal of homosexuals.
Its the 21st century , this kind of bigotry is just awful.

What makes the hate all the more confusing, was that American Dad (another Seth Macfarlane show) actually did have a semi positive portrayal of homosexuals in Greg and Terry, especially the episode examining homosexuals and surrogate children. It was a very reasonable look at the subject.

So why the hell couldn't family guy do the same, treat the subject matter with respect.

Maybe I am over thinking it.

On a more positive note, this year there will be a simpsons/Futurama crossover, that will be hopefully be better.

And we keep reading/listening to you, because we love your thoughts.

Sorry I did not comment on the Ayn Rand post, I meant to, but I still have 20 minutes to work through that.

Ooooh left behind, this will be fun
